Shopify Extensions

Explore our Shopify apps and extensions designed to add useful functionality to your ecommerce store. All three are currently in development and not yet listed in the Shopify App Store, so each page describes the planned first release and its planned pricing.

Warehouse stock being received against a Shopify purchase order

Purchase Orders & Receiving

Supplier purchasing and receiving for merchants who lost the Stocky workflow. Raise a purchase order, receive it across several deliveries, and reconcile what arrived against what was ordered.

Shopify profit and margin reporting shown on a laptop

Profit & Margin Analytics

Net profit per order, product and period, after cost of goods, payment fees, real shipping cost and refunds, reconciled against the figures in your Shopify admin.

Packaged products representing a Shopify product catalogue

AI Catalog Readiness

A legibility score for your product data across the AI shopping channels Shopify syndicates to, plus bulk fixing of the titles, descriptions and attributes holding products back.

What Can Shopify Extensions Add to Your Store?

The three extensions above are Shopify admin apps. These are the areas they work in, rather than everything the platform allows an app to do.

Shopify Admin Tools

Apps embedded in the Shopify admin add screens and workflows the platform does not ship with, alongside the tools your staff already use.

Ecommerce Reporting

Store data can be recalculated into numbers the admin does not report, such as net margin after payment fees, shipping and refunds.

Ecommerce Workflow Automation

Repetitive back-office work like purchase order creation, cost updates and bulk catalogue edits can be handled in batches instead of by hand.

Product and Catalog Data

Structured product data can be audited and improved in bulk, which affects both traditional search and the newer AI discovery channels.

How Our Shopify Extensions Work

These apps are in development. When released, they install from the Shopify App Store like any other app, with no theme file edits and no code left behind if you uninstall.

1. Choose an Extension

Pick the app that matches the problem you actually have. Each product page lists what is in the first release and what is not.

2. Install and Configure

Install from the Shopify App Store and set it up in your admin: locations, suppliers, cost sources or catalogue rules, depending on the app.

3. Start Using It

The app runs inside the Shopify admin alongside your normal workflow, and writes back to Shopify through the official API.

Built for Practical Shopify Store Needs

Focused Functionality

Each extension is built around one ecommerce problem rather than bundling features nobody asked for.

Straightforward Setup

Configuration is kept simple enough that a store owner can finish it without a developer on the call.

Developer Support

The people answering your questions are the people who wrote the app, including during installation and configuration.

Shopify Apps and Extensions for Modern Ecommerce

A Shopify store handles the essentials well. What it does not cover is the business around it: buying stock from suppliers on lead time, knowing the real margin on an order once fees and returns are counted, or keeping product data clean enough for the channels shoppers now search in. A Shopify app adds that missing functionality without changing the platform underneath.

Shopify draws distinctions worth keeping straight. An app is the installable product, usually embedded in the admin. Theme app extensions are the supported way to add storefront elements without writing into theme files, so changing or updating a theme does not leave orphaned code behind. Shopify Functions customise back-end logic such as discounts, shipping and payment rules, and checkout UI extensions add to the checkout on the plans that allow it. Which of these an app is built on decides what it can and cannot do, which is why it is worth asking.

The extensions on this page are admin apps. They add screens, reports and workflows inside Shopify rather than changing your storefront. Where a store needs something else, a connection to an ERP, a pricing rule that does not fit a standard product, or a migration, that is ecommerce development and custom API integration work rather than an app. If something already on the App Store solves your problem well, we will tell you that instead.

Frequently Asked Questions

In everyday use, Shopify extensions means the apps and add-ons that extend what a store can do beyond the built-in features. More precisely, Shopify uses extension for the specific components an app contributes, such as theme app extensions on the storefront, checkout UI extensions and Shopify Functions. The three products on this page are admin apps: they add screens and workflows inside the Shopify admin.
The app is the thing you install. Extensions are the parts of it that plug into specific surfaces of Shopify. One app can contribute several extensions, or none at all if it lives entirely in the admin. The distinction matters because it decides where an app can appear and how cleanly it uninstalls.
Apps install from the Shopify App Store into your admin, and you approve the permissions they ask for. Nothing is copied into your theme files, so removing an app does not leave code behind. The three apps here are still in development, so there is nothing to install yet.
It depends entirely on the app. None of the three on this page is an integration product: they work with data already in your store. If you need Shopify connected to an ERP, an accounting system or a warehouse, that is custom integration work and we build it separately.
Since they are in development, this is the best time to ask. Early access users influence what lands in the first release. Beyond that, we take on custom Shopify work, and changes specific to one store are quoted as development rather than added to the app for everyone.
No. These are built for store owners and their staff, not developers. You will need to know your own business: which suppliers you order from, where your cost prices live, how your catalogue is organised. Setup questions are answered by the people who wrote the app.
