Most policies of this kind list trackers the site does not actually run. This one describes what seninweb.com really stores in your browser, which is very little, and what third parties can store when you view certain pages.
1. What this is about
Websites can store small files in your browser and read them back on later visits. The common name for them is cookies, and similar effects can be achieved with local storage and other browser features. They can be necessary for a site to function, or they can be used to follow people between websites and build advertising profiles. Those are very different things, and the law treats them differently.
2. What this site stores
WordPress functional storage. This site runs on WordPress, which stores data in your browser in two situations only. First, when someone logs in to administer the site, in order to keep them logged in and remember interface preferences. Second, when a visitor leaves a blog comment and asks the browser to remember their name and email for next time.
If you are an ordinary visitor who has not logged in and has not left a comment, this website sets nothing of its own in your browser.
3. What this site does not do
We do not run Google Analytics or any other analytics package. We do not run advertising or remarketing pixels, and there is no Meta pixel, Google Ads tag, LinkedIn Insight tag or equivalent on this site. We do not track you across other websites, we do not build profiles of visitors, and we do not sell or share browsing data with anyone.
Because of this, there is currently nothing on this site that requires a consent banner under the EU ePrivacy rules, which is why you do not see one. If we ever add analytics or advertising technology, we will update this page and ask for consent before setting anything that requires it.
4. Third parties that can store their own
YouTube. Some pages embed a YouTube video. When that page loads the video player, or when you press play, your browser contacts Google servers directly. Google may then set its own storage and receives your IP address, under Google’s own privacy and cookie policies. This happens between your browser and Google. We do not control it, we do not receive anything from it, and it happens whether or not you watch the video.
Gravatar. Avatar images beside blog comments are served by Gravatar, operated by Automattic. Gravatar receives a hashed version of the commenter’s email address in order to return the right image, and may set storage of its own.
Google Fonts and other assets. Where a page loads a font or script from an external provider, that provider receives your IP address as a normal consequence of the request.
5. How to control this
Every major browser lets you block or delete browser storage from its settings, either for all sites or site by site. Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge all publish instructions for doing so.
Blocking storage will not prevent you from reading this site, because nothing here depends on it for a visitor who is not logged in. It may affect embedded video playback, which is controlled by Google rather than by us.
Most browsers also offer a private or incognito mode, which clears storage when the window closes.
6. Changes
If we add anything to this site that stores data in your browser, this page will be updated before that change goes live, and the date at the top will change with it.
