PrestaShop Modules & Extensions
Extend your PrestaShop store with practical modules and integrations designed to add functionality, simplify store management, and connect your ecommerce workflow.
SeninWeb develops PrestaShop modules and extensions for specific ecommerce needs, from profit reporting after fees to e-invoicing and multilingual catalog content.
PrestaShop Extensions Built for Your Store
A PrestaShop store rarely does everything a merchant needs out of the box. PrestaShop modules let you add that missing functionality without rebuilding the ecommerce platform or maintaining a forked copy of the core: install the extension, configure it, and the feature becomes part of the store.
Our PrestaShop extensions focus on the places where the default back office stops short. That means clearer numbers on what each order actually earned, invoice formats that satisfy the country you sell into, and catalog content across every shop language. Each module installs through the standard module manager, uses the hooks PrestaShop already provides, and keeps its data in your own database. Where an existing module is not the right fit, we also take on PrestaShop customization and integration work.
Extend Your Store
Add functionality to an existing PrestaShop installation, without replacing the platform or rewriting core files.
Connect Your Tools
Integrate PrestaShop with external services and business systems where the module supports it, through documented APIs and hooks.
Customize Your Workflow
Adapt store functionality around specific business requirements, from how costs are calculated to how content is reviewed.

Profit & Margin Reports for PrestaShop
Net profit per order, product and period, after payment fees, real shipping cost and refunds. PrestaShop stats show revenue, this shows what you actually kept.
- Cost of goods from wholesale price, with per-combination overrides, bulk CSV import and cost history
- Payment fee rules per payment module: percentage plus fixed amount, per currency and country
- Real carrier cost by weight and zone, compared against what the customer paid for shipping
- Refunds, credit slips, discounts, cart rules and gift wrapping deducted from the order margin
- Reports by product, category, brand, customer, payment method, carrier, country and shop, exportable to CSV or XLSX
E-Invoicing Bridge
Turns PrestaShop invoices into legally structured e-invoices and pushes them to the approved platform, across several EU countries rather than one.
- Factur-X output (PDF/A-3 with embedded CII XML, EN16931 profile) and UBL 2.1, with credit notes linked to the original invoice
- Transport connectors for the French approved platform, Peppol, KSeF in Poland and ZUGFeRD output for Germany
- B2B identification with SIREN and SIRET, VAT number with VIES check, KVK, BCE and NIP fields in registration and the back office
- Per-invoice status on the order page: submitted, accepted or rejected with the reason shown
- Legal archive with integrity hash and configurable retention, plus sandbox mode per platform
Bulk AI Content for Catalogs
Fill and refresh product, category and brand content in every shop language, in bulk, using your own provider API key.
- Bring your own key: OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Mistral or an OpenAI-compatible local endpoint
- Descriptions, short descriptions, meta titles and descriptions, image alt text, category and brand copy
- Batch filters by empty fields, category, brand, supplier, language, stock status or last modified date
- Review queue with old and new side by side, approve, edit, reject or bulk approve. Nothing is overwritten without approval
- Background processing with resume and a cost estimate per batch, plus per-field rollback to the previous version
Why Use PrestaShop Modules?
A PrestaShop module adds a feature through the hooks the platform already exposes, so a merchant gets new functionality without building it from scratch and without maintaining a modified copy of PrestaShop through every update.
Add New Functionality
Extend what your PrestaShop store can do, from reporting to invoicing to catalog content.
Improve Store Management
Automate or simplify specific ecommerce workflows where the module supports it.
Connect External Services
Use modules to connect your store with external systems, platforms and services.
Customize PrestaShop
Adapt the store around specific business requirements instead of the other way round.
PrestaShop Solutions for Different Ecommerce Needs
PrestaShop addons cover a wide range of store requirements. The areas below show where modules are commonly used, and where our own PrestaShop extensions currently fit.
Payments
A PrestaShop payment module connects the store to a gateway and handles currencies, fees and refunds. Our reporting module reads those fees per order, so margin reflects what the gateway actually charged. Gateway work itself sits under payment integration.
Ecommerce Integrations
Modules link PrestaShop to accounting, ERP, marketplace and fulfilment systems. Our e-invoicing module works this way, sending structured invoices to external platforms. Broader connections are covered by API integration.
Store Management
Back office modules change how daily work gets done: reporting, order handling, bulk edits. Profit & Margin Reports belongs here, replacing revenue figures with net margin after costs.
Product Management
Catalog modules handle attributes, combinations, images and descriptions at scale. Bulk AI Content for Catalogs covers the content side for large or multilingual catalogs.
Marketing and Customer Communication
Marketing modules cover campaigns, product feeds and on-site promotion, while notification modules keep buyers informed after checkout. We do not sell a PrestaShop module in either area today, though email marketing and CRM development are part of what we do.
Shipping and Logistics
Carrier modules manage rates, labels and tracking. Our reporting module uses the real carrier cost per weight and zone, so shipping is measured against what the customer actually paid.
Need a PrestaShop Module for a Specific Requirement?
Sometimes an existing module is not enough. SeninWeb can help develop custom PrestaShop functionality around your store, workflow, or integration requirements. If an off-the-shelf module already does the job, we will tell you that instead.
PrestaShop Modules FAQ
What is a PrestaShop module?
A PrestaShop module is a self-contained package that adds functionality to a store. It installs from the back office and attaches to the hooks PrestaShop exposes, so features can be added without editing core files and without losing those changes on the next update.
What is a PrestaShop extension?
Extension is the general term merchants use for anything that extends a store: modules, themes and integrations. In practice, someone searching for a PrestaShop extension is almost always looking for a module.
What is the difference between a PrestaShop module and an addon?
Technically nothing. Module is the name used in the PrestaShop code and back office, addon is the name used on the official marketplace, and plugin is the same idea borrowed from other platforms. All three describe the same type of package.
How do I install a PrestaShop module?
Download the zip file, open Modules and then Module Manager in the back office, choose Upload a module and select the file. PrestaShop unpacks and installs it, and you configure it from the same screen. On a live store, test on a staging copy and back up the database first.
How do I know if a PrestaShop module is compatible with my version?
Every module states the PrestaShop versions it supports. Check that range against the version shown in your back office before installing, since 1.6, 1.7, 8.x and 9.x differ enough that a module built for one may not run on another. If your version falls outside the stated range, ask before buying.
Can I customize a PrestaShop module?
Usually yes. Most modules expose configuration options and their own hooks, and further changes can be made through overrides or a small companion module rather than by editing the module directly. We also adapt our own modules when a store needs different behaviour.
Can you develop a custom PrestaShop module?
Yes. We build PrestaShop modules and integrations to order when nothing existing fits, including connections to external systems. Describe the workflow you need and we will tell you whether a module already on the market solves it more cheaply.
How do I get support for a PrestaShop extension?
Contact us with your PrestaShop version, the module version and what you are seeing. Support covers installation, configuration and fixes for the update period included with your licence.
