Bulk AI Content fills and refreshes product, category and brand content across every shop language, in bulk, using your own provider API key. Nothing reaches the catalog until you approve it, and every field keeps its previous version.
It is built for catalogs large enough that writing descriptions one product at a time stops being realistic: several hundred SKUs, more than one shop language, or a supplier feed that arrives with half the fields empty.
Your Provider, Your Key
Bring Your Own Key
OpenAI, Anthropic, Google or Mistral, plus any OpenAI-compatible endpoint, including a local one if you run your own model.
No Usage Markup
You pay your provider directly. The module adds no per-word fee and no monthly subscription on top of it.
Cost Estimate First
Every batch shows an estimated cost before it runs, so a catalog-wide job is a decision rather than a surprise.
Fields, Filters and Languages
Fields Covered
Description, short description, meta title, meta description, image alt text, category and brand descriptions, and feature or attribute summaries.
Batch Filters
Target only empty fields, or filter by category, brand, supplier, language, stock status or last modified date.
Brand Voice Presets
Tone, length, forbidden words and required mentions, with prompt overrides per category where one section of the catalog reads differently.
Multilingual
Generate for each shop language from a source language, or generate natively in the target language instead of translating.
Duplicate Check
New text is checked against existing descriptions, so a large catalog does not fill up with near-identical copy.
Background Processing
A cron runner works through the queue in chunks, handles provider rate limits, and resumes where it stopped.
Nothing Overwrites Without Approval
- A review queue shows the old text and the new text side by side
- Approve, edit, reject, or bulk approve once a batch reads the way you want
- The previous value is stored per field, so any change can be rolled back
- Existing content is versioned before anything is written to the catalog
Why this matters
A bulk generator without an approval step is a fast way to overwrite copy someone spent months on. The queue and the version history exist so a batch across two thousand products is a reversible action rather than a one-way door.

Questions About This Module
Do I need my own API key?
Yes. You create an account with OpenAI, Anthropic, Google or Mistral, or point the module at an OpenAI-compatible endpoint you host yourself, and paste the key into the configuration. Usage is billed by that provider, not by us, which is why the module has no subscription.
What happens to the descriptions I already have?
Nothing, unless you approve a change. Generated text lands in a review queue where you compare it against the current value, and the previous version of every field is stored so an approved change can still be undone.
Can I generate content in my other shop languages?
Yes. You can generate for each shop language from a source language, or generate natively in the target language rather than translating, which usually reads better for the languages a store sells into most.
Is AI-generated product copy a risk for SEO?
Search engines judge whether a page is useful, not how the text was produced. The real risk with bulk generation is thousands of thin, near-identical descriptions. That is why the module has a duplicate check, brand voice presets and an approval queue: the point is to fill gaps in a catalog, not to publish filler.
How long does a large batch take?
That depends on your provider and its rate limits. Batches run in the background through a cron runner in chunks, handle rate limiting, and resume where they stopped, so a catalog-wide job does not need a browser tab left open.
Which PrestaShop versions are supported?
PrestaShop 1.7.8 through 9.x. If your store is on an older branch, ask us before buying.
