Web Development Services
Websites judged on what they measure.
Most web design pages describe taste. This one describes acceptance criteria. Seninweb builds WordPress websites, custom websites and web applications, e-commerce stores, and websites connected to your CRM, payment platform and other systems through APIs. Every build is handed over against numbers you can check yourself: performance, accessibility and a scope agreed in writing.
WordPress • Custom Development • WooCommerce • APIs • CRM Integrations • SEO-ready Architecture
What Can We Build For Your Business?
From a high-performance company website to a fully integrated web application, we build around what your business actually needs to accomplish. Our website development services cover WordPress, custom development, e-commerce and the integrations that connect a site to the rest of your business.
Business Websites
Professional websites for companies that need credibility, leads and measurable business results, built to be judged on what they deliver rather than how they look in a mockup.
WordPress Development
Custom WordPress websites, themes, functionality and content structures that stay manageable after launch, so your team can edit content without calling a developer.
Custom Web Development
Web applications and custom systems built around your specific business processes instead of forcing the business into an off-the-shelf solution.
E-Commerce Development
WooCommerce and custom e-commerce development for products, subscriptions, payments, catalogues and the integrations a store depends on.
API & CRM Integrations
Connect your website to CRMs, ERP systems, payment platforms, marketing tools and telephony through our API integration and CRM development services.
Website Modernization
Improve, rebuild or migrate an existing website without unnecessarily replacing the parts that already work. Redesigns and migrations are scoped against what the current site does well.
Your Website Should Solve a Business Problem
Most of the projects we take on start with one of the situations below. You do not need to describe the technical cause. Tell us what is not working and we will find it.
"Our website gets traffic but not enough leads"
Traffic without enquiries usually points to slow pages, unclear next steps or forms that fail on mobile. We look at how visitors actually move through the site, then fix the path to contact rather than redesigning for the sake of it.
"We need to replace an outdated website"
We rebuild on WordPress or a custom stack, keep the URLs and content that already earn traffic, and hand over a site your team can maintain. Redirects and search visibility are part of the plan, not an afterthought.
"Our WordPress site has become difficult to maintain"
Plugin sprawl, page-builder lock-in and undocumented customisations are common. We reduce the site to what it needs, document what remains and make editing safe for non-technical staff.
"We need our website connected to our CRM"
Form submissions, quotes and customer accounts can flow directly into your CRM with two-way sync where it matters. See our CRM development and API integration services.
"We need an online store or customer portal"
WooCommerce or custom e-commerce for products and subscriptions, or a login-protected portal where customers see orders, documents and account details. Payments are handled through our payment integration work.
"Our site is slow, hard to manage or technically outdated"
We measure before we change anything: Core Web Vitals on a real phone, plugin and script audit, hosting and caching review. Then we fix the causes, whether that is a performance pass or a planned rebuild.
WordPress or Custom Development?
Not every project needs custom development. The question is not which technology is more impressive but which one your site can be maintained on in three years. This is the first thing we settle in discovery.
WordPress
WordPress development is the right choice when the site is mainly about content, credibility and being easy for your team to update.
- Company and corporate websites
- Content-driven and marketing websites
- Blogs and editorial sites
- Service business websites
- WooCommerce stores
- Websites that need easy content management
Custom Development
Custom web development earns its price when the website has to do something a CMS cannot do cleanly, or has to carry logic that is specific to your business.
- Complex business workflows
- Customer portals and logged-in areas
- Web applications
- Advanced integrations with other systems
- Custom dashboards and reporting
- Unique business logic
- Large-scale systems
We do not recommend custom development simply because it costs more. We choose the technology based on what the project actually needs, and many projects that arrive asking for “custom” are better served by well-built WordPress.
Why we will sometimes tell you to use a website builder
A three page brochure site with no integrations, no catalogue and no plans to grow does not need us. A builder will do it in a weekend for a fraction of the price, and we will say so rather than quote for it.
Custom work earns its price when the site has to do something: connect to your other systems, carry a catalogue that changes, compete for search terms with real competition, or survive being edited by several people without breaking.
- An honest answer on whether a website builder would serve you better
- Fixed scope agreed in writing, so the price at the end matches the one at the start
Connect Your Website to the Systems You Already Use
A modern business website rarely stands alone. It has to pass enquiries to a CRM, take payments, sync stock, trigger emails or talk to a phone system. We build those connections as part of the website rather than bolting them on afterwards. Where a platform offers a native connector we use it; where it does not, we build the integration and tell you which is which.
CRM & business software
CRM, ERP, helpdesk and accounting systems. Leads, quotes and customer records flow between the website and the tools your team already works in. See CRM development and Zoho integration.
Payments & commerce
Payment gateways, subscriptions, invoicing and stock. We build on WooCommerce, and work with Shopify and PrestaShop through extensions and custom modules. Details on the payment integration page.
Marketing & email platforms
Email marketing tools, automation platforms, analytics and tracking, so campaigns and forms share the same data instead of separate lists. See our email marketing service.
Telephony & VoIP
Click-to-call, call logging against CRM records and screen pops from the website. We integrate FreePBX and Asterisk-based systems and build custom VoIP features.
REST APIs & webhooks
Custom endpoints, webhook receivers, authentication (OAuth, API keys, SSO), retries and error handling. This is the plumbing behind most of the categories on this list. See API integration.
Booking, inventory & portals
Booking and scheduling systems, inventory and stock feeds, and customer portals where clients log in to see orders, documents or account details.
Built With SEO in Mind
SEO should not be something added after development. Site structure, templates, speed and markup are decided during the build, and they are expensive to change afterwards. We build the technical foundation that allows your SEO strategy to work properly. We do not promise rankings; nobody honest can. We make sure the website is never the reason a ranking is held back.
Structure and crawlability
- Search-friendly site architecture and clean URL structures
- Semantic HTML and a proper heading hierarchy
- Crawlable pages and sensible indexation rules
- Metadata structure ready for your SEO team to fill in
- Internal linking planned with the content, not added later
- Structured data where it genuinely applies
Speed and technical foundations
- Mobile-first development
- Page speed and Core Web Vitals considered in every template
- Image optimization, modern formats and lazy loading
- Redirect mapping and migration handling on rebuilds
- Search Console and analytics set up at launch
- Technical SEO foundations that your content and campaigns can build on
Performance Is Part of the Build
Performance is not a tuning step at the end. It is a launch criterion we agree with you at the start, measured on a phone over a mobile connection, and listed below in the numbers we actually sign off against.
Fast on Mobile
Most visitors to a business website arrive on a phone, often on a slow connection. We test on mobile first because that is where a slow site loses enquiries, and desktop results follow.
Core Web Vitals
We measure loading, interactivity and layout stability against Google's Core Web Vitals thresholds rather than describing the site as "fast" or "optimized". You can run the same test yourself.
Efficient Code & Assets
Unnecessary scripts, excess plugins, oversized images and badly implemented third-party embeds are what usually slow a site down. We keep them out of the build and audit what has to stay.
What the site has to pass before we invoice
Core Web Vitals green on mobile rather than desktop: largest contentful paint under 1.8 seconds on a 4G connection, interaction to next paint under 200 milliseconds, cumulative layout shift under 0.05. You can run the same test we do, on your own site, from your own phone.
Accessibility to WCAG 2.2 AA, checked with automated tooling and then by hand with a keyboard and a screen reader, because automated scans catch under half of the failures that matter.
- Core Web Vitals thresholds agreed as launch criteria, not as an aspiration
- WCAG 2.2 AA verified by keyboard and screen reader, not only by an automated scan
Accessibility Isn't an Afterthought
An accessible website is a responsible build, and it is also simply a better one: clearer structure, forms that work, pages that can be used with a keyboard. We build to WCAG 2.2 AA and check it by hand, because automated scans catch under half of the failures that matter.
- WCAG 2.2 AA as the working standard
- Full keyboard navigation with visible focus states
- Semantic structure with proper labels and headings
- Screen-reader compatibility tested with a real screen reader
- Accessible forms with clear errors and instructions
- Colour contrast that passes on text, buttons and icons
- Media, tables and components usable without a mouse
- Manual checks alongside automated tooling, before launch
What Is Included in a Web Development Project?
The exact scope depends on the project and is agreed in writing before work starts. A typical website development project from us includes the following.
- Responsive design implementation
- CMS configuration and editor training
- Custom functionality agreed in scope
- Contact and enquiry forms
- SEO-ready structure and metadata
- Performance optimization to agreed targets
- Security configuration and hardening
- Analytics integration
- Search Console setup where applicable
- Third-party and API integrations
- Functional and cross-browser testing
- Mobile device testing
- Accessibility checks against WCAG 2.2 AA
- Launch support and production verification
- Documentation and handover
- Redirects and migration handling on rebuilds
- Staging environment during the build
- A fixed price for the agreed scope
How We Build Your Website
Five stages, each with a defined output. The order matters: decisions about technology and structure are made before development starts, not discovered during it.
Discovery
Architecture
Development
Testing
Launch & Handover
How Long Does Website Development Take?
Most typical projects take approximately 4 to 10 weeks, depending on scope, integrations, content readiness and feedback cycles. We do not promise an exact delivery date before discovery, because until then nobody knows the scope. After discovery you get a schedule with your dependencies and ours stated separately.
What affects the timeline
Project complexity
Number of pages and templates
Custom functionality
Integrations with other systems
Content availability
Client feedback cycles
Migration requirements
The bottleneck is content, and we plan around it
Projects rarely run late because of code. They run late waiting for text, photographs and a final answer on pricing. We agree what we need and when, and we build against placeholder content so the site is finished and waiting rather than blocked.
A typical build runs four to ten weeks depending on scope. Where content is still being written we will say plainly which parts of that timeline are ours and which are yours.
- A content schedule agreed at the start, so delays are visible rather than argued about later
- Four to ten weeks for a typical build, with the dependencies stated up front
Web Development for Different Business Needs
The right build depends on what the website has to do for the business. These are the project types we take on most often, and where a dedicated service page exists we link to it.
Corporate Websites
Company sites that need credibility, clear structure and a CMS several departments can edit safely.
Service Business Websites
Local and regional service companies that need enquiries, booking and calls to reach the right person.
B2B Websites
Longer sales cycles, gated content, lead capture that feeds a CRM and pages a sales team can actually use.
E-Commerce
WooCommerce and custom stores with catalogues, subscriptions and payments. See e-commerce solutions.
Customer Portals
Login-protected areas where clients see orders, invoices, documents or support tickets pulled from your systems.
Membership Websites
Paid or gated content, member accounts, renewals and access rules handled cleanly on WordPress or custom.
Booking Websites
Appointments, reservations and scheduling connected to your calendar, payments and confirmations.
Web Applications
Custom applications built around a business process rather than a page layout, with proper testing and handover.
CRM-connected Websites
Forms, quotes and accounts that sync with your CRM. See CRM development.
API-driven Websites
Sites that pull from or push to other systems through REST APIs and webhooks. See API integration.
Multi-language Websites
Language and region structures that search engines can crawl and editors can maintain without duplicating work.
Website Rebuilds & Migrations
Moving platforms or hosts while keeping URLs, content and search visibility intact.

Not Sure What You Need?
You do not need to know which framework, plugin or architecture your website needs. Tell us what you want the website to accomplish and we will help determine the appropriate technical approach, including whether you need us at all.
What Kind of Website Are You Planning?
Pick the closest match, then tell us what the site has to do. Project type, rough page count, required integrations, your existing website URL, the launch timeframe you have in mind and the main business objective are the most useful things to include. We do not display prices because an estimate before discovery is a guess.
Web Development FAQs
Straight answers to the questions we are asked most before a project starts.
What is the difference between web design and web development?
Web design decides how a website looks and how its pages are laid out. Web development builds the working site: the code, the CMS, the forms, the integrations and the performance behind it. Most business websites need both, and on our projects design decisions are made against what the site has to do rather than as a separate exercise.
How much does a website cost?
It depends on scope, which is why we do not publish prices or quote before discovery. A content site on WordPress, an online store and a custom web application are very different amounts of work. After discovery you get a fixed price for an agreed written scope, so the figure at the end matches the one at the start. If a website builder would serve you better, we will say so instead of quoting.
How long does website development take?
Most typical builds take four to ten weeks. Complexity, number of pages, custom functionality, integrations, migration and how quickly content and feedback arrive all move that. We give a dated schedule after discovery and state which dependencies are ours and which are yours.
Should I use WordPress or custom development?
WordPress for content-driven, marketing and service business sites and for WooCommerce stores, because it is easy to manage and widely supported. Custom development when the site has to run a specific business process, act as a customer portal or web application, or carry integrations and logic a CMS cannot handle cleanly. We do not recommend custom work because it costs more; see the comparison above.
Can you redesign an existing website?
Yes. A redesign starts with what the current site does well: which pages earn traffic, which URLs must be kept, what content is worth preserving. We then rebuild on WordPress or a custom stack with redirects, performance and accessibility handled as part of the project.
Can you connect my website to a CRM?
Yes. Enquiry forms, quotes, bookings and customer accounts can be pushed into your CRM, and in many cases synced both ways. See our CRM development and Zoho integration pages for how that work is scoped.
Can you integrate APIs into my website?
Yes. REST APIs, webhooks, authentication and third-party services are a normal part of our builds, with retries and error handling designed in. If your website needs to communicate with an external CRM, payment platform or business application, see our API integration service.
Can you build an e-commerce website?
Yes. We build WooCommerce stores and custom e-commerce solutions covering catalogues, subscriptions, payments and stock integrations, and we develop extensions for Shopify and PrestaShop. See e-commerce solutions and payment integration.
Can you migrate my existing website?
Yes. Platform and hosting migrations are planned around keeping content, URLs and search visibility intact: full redirect mapping, content audit, staging verification and a launch checklist before DNS changes.
Will my website be SEO-friendly?
The technical foundation will be: crawlable structure, semantic HTML, clean URLs, metadata structure, fast mobile pages and Search Console set up at launch. That is what allows an SEO strategy to work. We do not promise rankings, because rankings also depend on content, competition and factors outside the build.
Can you improve website speed?
Usually, and we measure first. A performance pass looks at Core Web Vitals on mobile, plugins, scripts, images, hosting and caching, then fixes the causes. Where the underlying build is the problem we will tell you that a rebuild is the honest answer rather than sell repeated tuning.
Do you provide maintenance after launch?
Yes. Every project is handed over with documentation so you are not dependent on us, and ongoing maintenance, updates and support can be agreed separately if you want them.
Can you build a custom web application?
Yes. We build custom applications in PHP and Node.js around a defined business process: customer portals, dashboards, internal tools and integration layers. Scope, testing and handover are agreed in writing before development starts.
Have a Website Project in Mind?
Tell us what you are trying to build, improve or integrate. We can help you determine the right technical approach before development begins.
No obligation. We will first understand the project and tell you what approach makes sense.
