Click to call and screen pop for FreePBX

FreePBX 17 removed Zulu. PopDesk brings back the parts you actually used.

PopDesk restores click to call and caller screen pop on FreePBX 17. It installs as a FreePBX module and pairs with a browser extension, so a ringing phone opens the right customer record in whatever CRM you already use in the browser.

$79 one-time per PBX. Extensions are free, and there is no subscription.

What PopDesk Does

Click to Call

Dial any number on a web page straight from the browser, through your own FreePBX extension.

Caller Screen Pop

When a call arrives, the matching customer record opens instead of you searching for it.

Works With Any Browser CRM

PopDesk works from the number on the page, so it is not tied to a single CRM vendor.

One-Time License

Paid once per PBX. Extensions on that PBX are free and there is no monthly fee.

How It Works

Step 1

Install the module

PopDesk installs into FreePBX as a module alongside your existing configuration.

Step 2

Add the browser extension

Each user adds the browser extension and links it to their own PBX extension.

Step 3

Calls meet records

Outbound calls start from the browser. Inbound calls pop the matching record.

PopDesk Questions

Not entirely. Zulu was a full softphone client. PopDesk covers the parts most people used day to day, which are click to call and caller screen pop. It is not a SIP endpoint and does not replace your desk phone or softphone.
Any CRM that runs in a browser. PopDesk works from the phone number shown on the page rather than a vendor specific integration, so it is not limited to a fixed list of CRMs.
No. PopDesk is a one-time license per PBX, and every extension on that PBX is covered.
Yes. Installation and any customization is quoted separately. We also do wider FreePBX integration work if the PBX needs to talk to other business systems.
We build custom FreePBX modules to order. Tell us what the module needs to do and we will tell you what it involves.
